In their first state playoff meeting ever, the 14-6 Albemarle Patriots will travel to Crozet to take on the 12-4 Western Albemarle Warriors. Game time is 7:00pm. The game will see a clash between Commonwealth District Player of the Year Stephen Murray and Jefferson District
Player of the Year Max Pfiefer.

The Albemarle boy’s team is ranked #18 in the LaxPower computer rankings and Western is currently at #21. The teams last met April 20th at Albemarle; the Warriors walked away with an 8-7 win. Western has won its last three games.
