Green defeated Red on Monday to complete an undefeated season. The finals were between the top two seeds of the league.

The game was competitive throughout as the first quarter ended in a 2-2 tie; Green led 5-4 at half. Red hung tough with the third quarter ending 8-5. The Green Machine pulled away to a 10-5 lead and the margain held.

David Morris led Green with 4 goals and Kevin Coates added 2 to lead a balanced offense of 7 scorers. Logan Kuiser had 3 and Captain Jim Loffredo and Steve Lesser each 3 for Red.

Both goalies were outstanding. Red’s Dave Breslin had 10 saves, while Grant White continued his spectacular summer play with 13 saves. Many were 1 on 1 stops. He was named the cville-lax.com Player of the Game.
