Eric Allen has written cville-lax to let us know that they’ve brought an ongoing lacrosse program to life in Fluvanna County. In partnership with Fluvanna Co. Parks and Recreation, Sundays now feature a coed “soft lacrosse” game at 4:30 pm and a men’s game at 6:30 pm, both at Carysbrook on Rt. 15 between Palmyra and Fork Union. The cost is $25 per player, per year.

In addition, Junior Varsity teams — both Boy’s and Girl’s — are planned for 2007 at Fluvanna County High School.

Lacrosse is currently the fastest-growing sport in the United States; cville-lax.com congratulates Fluvanna Lacrosse on their expansion of the game into new territory. For more information, visit their web site @ http://www.flucolax.com, or contact Eric at 434.591.1000.
