NBC 29 has a nice spot about Fluvanna County’s upcoming lacrosse program at Fluvanna County High School.

Fluvanna County rising senior Kelly Douma, who has played lacrosse for one year, said, “You can’t start a successful program without starting somewhere.”

Fluvanna boys club lacrosse assistant coach Brian Wilberger said, “We’re ready for this. This is something we’ve been waiting for for many a year. There’s been a lot of kids that have come and gone through Fluvanna County that have not had the opportunity to play varsity or JV sanctioned sport here for lacrosse, but now it’s right here. We’re knocking at the door. We’re ready to come right through.”
