The third-ranked Virginia men’s lacrosse team hosts No. 10 North Carolina Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium.

The Cavaliers will attempt to break the Klöckner Stadium attendance record with a crowd of more than 8,000 spectators for this important ACC match-up. UVa has won 22 consecutive games at Klöckner Stadium and has never lost a night game at Klöckner Stadium.

“The crowds in both soccer and lacrosse here at Klöckner have been much bigger in the last few years,” said Virginia head coach Dom Starsia. “It’s been a real treat for the players. In sports like ours, when you can get a crowd to create a great atmosphere it’s a treat for the kids–it’s a huge help. I think it will be a tremendous boost in the game against North Carolina. And with us playing a mid-week game, I think we’re going to need a little lift, and the crowd could really give it to us.”

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for youth 18-and-under and seniors. Tickets can be purchased online at virginiasports.com, by phone at 800-542-UVA1 or in person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall.
