Seminole League Weather Update: June 11, 2012
The Seminole Lacrosse League has been carefully monitoring this afternoon’s weather situation. It appears that while “Opening Night” of the 2012 Seminole League Lacrosse Clinic may be a bit soggy, there are currently no indications of unsafe weather on the way.
Therefore, it is anticipated that tonight’s opening Seminole League Clinic, featuring a talk by University of Virginia Head Coach Dom Starsia, will be held as scheduled.
(Weather conditions can change very quickly, so be sure to check for any updates before leaving for Darden Towe Park. Updates will be made to this post, as well as on the @lax_weather Twitter Feed.)
IMPORTANT NOTE TO PARENTS!
The Seminole League takes safety very seriously. As in most days in June, there is a slight chance of thunderstorms through the evening, so PLEASE do NOT drop your child off at Darden Towe Park and then leave! In case of unexpected severe weather, Seminole will temporarily suspend the practice, ask participants to seek shelter in their vehicles, and hopefully restart practice as soon as conditions warrant.
