Seminole League Weather Update: June 21, 2010
The Seminole Lacrosse League has been carefully monitoring this afternoonâ??s weather situation. Based on real-time weather radar, it appears that the storms impacting the Central Virginia region will either be leaving the Charlottesville area by 6:30pm.
Therefore, tonight’s opening practice for the Seminole League Girl’s League will be held as scheduled.
IMPORTANT NOTE TO PARENTS!
The Seminole League takes safety very seriously. Since there is a chance of thunderstorms through the evening, PLEASE do NOT drop your child off at Darden Towe Park and then leave! In case of unexpected severe weather, Seminole will temporarily suspend the practice, ask participants to seek shelter in their vehicles, and hopefully restart practice as soon as conditions warrant.
