Weather Alert: Updated 5:30pm
The Seminole Lacrosse League has been carefully monitoring this afternoon’s weather situation. The large thunderstorm is currently (5:30pm) impacting Charlottesville and Albemarle County; however, based upon a review of real-time weather radar, this storm should be out of the Charlottesville area by 6:30pm. Therefore, it is anticipated that tonight’s opening Seminole League practices will be held as scheduled.

The Seminole League takes safety very seriously. Due to the continuing chance of thunderstorms, PLEASE do NOT drop your child off at Darden Towe Park and then leave! In case of unexpected severe weather, Seminole will temporarily suspend the practice, ask participants to seek shelter in their vehicles, and hopefully restart practice as soon as conditions warrant.
