Weather Alert: Updated 5:30pm
The Seminole Lacrosse League has been carefully monitoring this afternoon’s weather situation. The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning due to a large thunderstorm is currently (5:30pm) impacting Albemarle County; however, based upon a review of real-time weather radar, this storm may be out of the Charlottesville area by 6:30pm. Therefore, a decision on tonight’s Seminole League clinic will be made at approximately 6:10pm.

Update: At 6:00pm, Charlottesville and Darden Towe Park is under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning and is experiencing heavy rain and severe air-to-ground lightning. Therefore, tonight’s Seminole League clinic is CANCELLED.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO PARENTS!
The Seminole League takes safety very seriously. Due to the continuing chance of thunderstorms, PLEASE do NOT drop your child off at Darden Towe Park and then leave! In case of unexpected severe weather, Seminole will temporarily suspend the practice, ask participants to seek shelter in their vehicles, and hopefully restart practice as soon as conditions warrant.
