Six UVA Men’s Lacrosse players were selected to the 2011 preseason All-America team by Face-Off Yearbook. Junior attackman Steele Stanwick and senior midfielder Shamel Bratton both landed on the first-team. Junior attackman Chris Bocklet and senior midfielder Rhamel Bratton earned third-team honors, while sophomore midfielder Chris LaPierre and senior goalie Adam Ghitelman were named honorable mention.

Preseason ranked #1 Syracuse had three players named to the first team. Virginia is ranked #2 in the preseason polls behind the two time defending NCAA champs.
