Yeardley Love was, by all accounts, not only a gifted athlete, but a young woman of uncommon talent and promise. We mourn her loss, while remembering the joy and spirit she brought to her family, friends, teammates and fans.

Our thoughts are also with the Huguely family as they attempt to comprehend and cope with what can only be considered unimaginable and unexplainable.

The Charlottesville Chapter of USLacrosse and cville-lax.com extend our condolences to all of Yeardley Love’s family and extended family. The areaâ??s lacrosse community joins the world-wide family of lacrosse, as well as the Charlottesville/Albemarle and University communities in general, in keeping all members of the families involved in our thoughts and prayers.
