The Virginia – Temple women’s lacrosse game that was planned for Sunday, Feb. 25 in Philadelphia has been postponed to Wednesday, March 7 in Philadelphia at 1:00. The forecast of a winter storm for the Philadelphia area and the resulting travel complications combined with the concern for the participants and spectators was the genesis for the change.

The 1-0 Cavaliers, who defeated Virginia Tech 15-2 on Wednesday, Feb. 21, will return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 28 as they host in-state rival Richmond. Game time against the Spiders is slated for 7 p.m.
