Virginia student-athlete Kate Breslin, who helped the Cavaliers defeat in-state and ACC rival Virginia Tech last Wednesday (Feb. 21) with six goals and an assist, has been selected as the featured athlete of the week by womenslax.com, a national website focusing on collegiate women’s lacrosse.
Breslin, who leads the Cavaliers in scoring with six goals and one assist for seven points, is a fourth-year. She earned All-ACC Tournament honors in 2005 and is Virginia’s current active career leader in goals (76) and points (94).
