The Blue Ridge Officials Association is offering an informational session on Rules of Lacrosse for the Charlottesville and surrounding areas. Topics covered will include not only the basic rules, but also mechanics of umpiring, interpretation of the rules in a game setting, and game management. For those interested in certification for umpiring, a field test will be administered at a later date to be determined.

The meeting will be held in University Hall in Charlottesville on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. Cost (payable to Blue Ridge Officials Association) is $25.

For more information, and to RSVP, please contact Chip Rogers, Chair, Blue Ridge Board. An accurate count is needed to bring enough materials.
