In striking contrast to regular season play, both play-in games for the Charlottesville Summer Lacrosse League Championships were very competitive. On Tuesday evening, Orange defeated Blue 5-4 in OT. Despite the loss, Blue Goalie Rodger Chan had an outstanding game. On Wednesday night, Maroon moved past Gold 15-10.

The semifinal games are set for tonight, July 20th. Red plays Orange at 6:15, while Green matches up with Maroon 6:45. Note to players: please be at the field at your scheduled time for an on-time start.

In case of rain, tonight’s games will be played on Monday, moving Monday’s scheduled Championship game to Tuesday.
