The Charlottesville lacrosse community is greatly saddened by the news that Nolan Jenkins was killed in an automobile accident Friday evening, May 19. He was a senior lacrosse player on the Albemarle High School Lacrosse Team. Nolan was a member of the CAYLC lacrosse organization for many years before playing for Albemarle High School. Nolan was to attend Christopher Newport University next Fall and join the universityâ??s lacrosse team.

The family will receive friends 7:00 to 8:30 May 23rd at the Teague Funeral Home with the funeral service to be conducted May 24th at the First Baptist Church at 4:00. The Charlottesville Foundation, USLacrosse, and cville-lax extends our condolences to Nolanâ??s family, the Albemarle Varsity Lacrosse Team, and the entire lacrosse community.
