While rain has not yet fallen, the Charlottesville Summer Lacrosse League is closely monitoring a line of storms moving over the Blue Ridge mountains. No decision is expected to be made about tonight’s Green v. Red and Blue v. Maroon games until some time before 5:00pm this evening.

Update, 4:53pm: While the rain in Charlottesville is lightening up, there is another line of showers that should roll through Charlottesville around game time. Due to a Severe Thunderstorm Watch posted by the National Weather Service, as well as projections of air-to-ground lightning, tonightâ??s Charlottesville Summer Lacrosse League games are postponed.

Update, 6:40pm: We’ve just received word that tonight’s edition of the Charlottesville Summer Lacrosse League is postponed as well.
