The lacrosse season is in full swing, with teams from the University of Virginia, area high schools, and middle school teams all seeing action. Wednesday’s UVa Women’s match against William & Mary is “Cavalier Orange Night“: Anyone wearing orange gets in for only $3. Also, Saturday’s game, when the Cavalier Women take on #8 Princeton, is “Girl Scout Day“. And even if you’re not a Girl Scout, hot dogs, popcorn, and small sodas can each be purchased for $1 at the concession stand.

The 6th Annual Albemarle Lacrosse Jamboree is scheduled for the weekend of March 23rd. Teams from 5 states will take part in 3 days of lacrosse games and scrimmages. Friday will feature full length events while Saturday and Sunday will be in the Jamboree format of 1 hour events.

This year the Jamboree is being sponsored by Bones Lacrosse and Davenport & Company, LLC.
